Your homework
There are some great questions to ask yourself before contacting us. Here is the short list of topics to think of:
-
Know your case
Who are your target competitors?
That's one of the most important questions you could ask yourself before approaching any web developer. How do they evolve and develop? What do you see as their strategy, their weak and strong points? Who is the number one? How do you want to be better? Make a long list.
-
Know your competition
What would you like to produce? Who will use it and why? What is your ideal outcome, best win, dream result?
What are the most important target functions? What is the size of your project? How many content do you need? What's the target geographically, socially? Who are your visitors? What is your most important function or part of the site? What is the second most important one?
Why will your visitors suggest your site to their friends?
-
Know your boundaries
Put simple it is time, money and quality.
Have a deadline for your first beta version. You will be the only person who will get it, for a first review, first evaluation. What would you like to see in it? When? Know your budget. Split it into development, advertising, testing categories. Would you like to approach the market aggressively, or will that be word-of-mouth spread? What channels do you suppose to be effective for your project promotion (some special websites, TV, google, viral marketing)?
What level of quality do you expect in for your first version? What are your main constraints?
-
Know your goals
What would you like to get and how many of it?
Is it the traffic, clients, orders, accounts, emails, advertising revenue? Set your target numbers even if you don't have any idea on what to expect.
We'll help you to make those realistic (or optimistic if you, like we, like to take it this way). Setting those target goals helps evaluate each group of actions - will it help reach the desired outcome or will it slower the movement towards it?
-
Aim to be the best
That's the very least we expect from you. We want and like to work with projects that aim to be not less than the market segment leaders.
